Our site was designed to make purchasing and shopping for romantic accessories both simple and affordable. This page will assist you in identifying the options available to you to enhance your shopping experience.
Note that every page on our website includes the same navigation menus at the top and product and brand selection menus on the left side. The navigation menus at the top provide the links to the various functions of the website while the product and brand menus at the left provide short cuts to quickly display product offerings by category and style or by category and brand. The operation of these menus is explained in the following.
The navigation menus appear across the top of each page on our site and include eight function links. Each function provided on these menus are described below.
A login is not required to use this site or to place an order. However, by creating a login profile we can store your billing and shipping address for future orders plus give you access to the 'My Account' link which allows you to view all of your previous orders for reference. Clicking this menu link will display a login page to allow you to inform our system which account information you wish to have access to. If you already have created a login profile, just enter the user name and password that you want access to and click the 'Login Now' button. If you do not have a login but would like to create one you can do so by clicking any of the 'Create A Login Profile' links on the login page or you can click this Create A Login Profile link. You are also given an opportunity to create a login profile during the checkout process if desired. If you have created a login profile and remember your user name but do not remember your password enter the User Name then click the 'Please Email My Password' link on the login page. The password associated with the entered User Name will be emailed to the address assigned to the User name when you created the profile.
The User Name of the account you are logged in to will be displayed near the bottom of the left menu area of each page. Also, whenever you are logged in, the Login menu link is changed to read 'Logout'. Clicking the link while it shows 'Logout' will notify our system that you no longer need access to that account and you will no longer be logged in to that account.
You will be logged out automatically by our system whenever you close the browser window you logged in from or you leave your session idle for an extended period of time with no activity.
Your cart is tracked separately from your account so you do not have to login to an account to shop and add items to your shopping cart. Our system will maintain your cart for up to thirty days. If you do not purchase the items in your shopping cart in that time period our system will automatically empty your cart. When you click the 'ADD TO CART' button on a product page, the viewed item will be placed in your shopping cart in the quantity, color and/or size you selected. You can view the contents of your shopping cart at any time up to the point you order them by clicking on the 'My Cart' link in the navigation menu. When viewing your cart, an Update button and quantity field is provided for each item to allow you to change the quantity of the item in your cart and a Remove button is provided for each item to allow you to delete the item from your cart. A link is provided on the cart viewing page to allow you to display an order form filled in with the contents of your cart if you wish to mail in or fax an order for the items you have in your cart rather than use our on-line checkout system.
When you are ready to purchase the items in your shopping cart, click the 'Checkout' link in the navigation menu. You will be presented with an entry form to enter your credit card information and billing and shipping addresses. If you have not logged in you will have to complete all of the required fields. Also, if you have not logged in you will be given options at the bottom of the screen to create a login profile with the information you have entered on this screen. If you already have a login profile and simply forgot to login before activating the checkout process, just go ahead and login and click 'Checkout' again. When you activate checkout after logging in, the checkout screen is filled in for you from the information stored in your login profile. Also, when you are logged in during the checkout process you will be given the options at the bottom of the screen to update your profile based on any changes you have entered during checkout.
When you click the 'Continue Checkout' button you will be presented with a summary of your order to review. You can change your order at this point by returning to your cart (click the 'My Cart' link) and making your changes. Then repeat the checkout process by clicking the 'Checkout' link.
Clicking this link will display our contact information page which lists important phone numbers, addresses and Email addresses to assist you in communicating with us.
Positioning your mouse pointer over this link will cause a Search Sub-Menu to be displayed. The Search Sub-Menu includes an entry for each category of our products. If you have not acknowledged that your are an adult as described below (click this How To Display Adult Games & Toys link to see how) there will not be an entry in this Sub-Menu to allow searching for adult games and toys. If you have acknowledged that you are an adult, an entry will automatically be added to the Search Sub-Menu for the adult 'Games & Toys' category.
A search criteria page unique to the product category is displayed when you click on a Sub-Menu item. These pages allow you to specify specific criteria you are looking for in each category of our products. Note that brand, style, material, color and size are common criteria selections appearing on all of the search pages regardless of product category. Detailed help regarding the use of the search pages is provided under the 'Searching' Sub-Menu link under 'Information & Help'. You can click this Searching Help link to go directly to the searching help page.
Positioning your mouse pointer over this link will cause a Sub-Menu to be displayed which has two selections, 'My Orders' and 'My Profile'. Clicking on either of these Sub-Menu items when you are not logged in to our system will cause you to be re-directed to our Login page.
If you have logged in to an account, clicking the 'My Orders' link will display a status report of all of the orders placed under the logged in account. Notice that each entry in the Order Date and Time column is actually another link. Clicking the Order Date and Time link for a specific order will display the original order along with the shipping status of each item on the order.
If you have logged in to an account, clicking the 'My Profile' link will display the current information stored for that profile and will give you the opportunity to change the profile. Use this if you need to modify your password, email addresses, phone numbers, etc. However, you are not allowed to modify the Login User Name associated with an existing account.
You are presented with the Help Sub-Menu whenever you position your mouse over the 'Information & Help' link on the navigation menu. Included in this Sub-Menu are links to various topics to assist you in your shopping experience as described below.
The 'Policies' link displays our terms and conditions and operating policies.
The 'Ordering' link displays assistance for placing an order with TheLingerieConnection.net.
The 'Shipping' link displays assistance to help you select a method of shipping your order as well as explanation of various aspects of the delivery process.
The 'Size Info' link provides information to help you determine what size to order.
The 'Definitions' link will display a glossary of lingerie and clothing terms. If you have acknowledged that your are an adult as described below (click this How To Display Adult Games & Toys link to see how) a glossary of terms concerning adult toys will be included.
The 'Searching' link provides more detailed information to assist you in using our 'Quick Search' and 'Advanced Search' functions.
The 'Site Help' link brings you to this page.
The 'Site Map' link displays an organized grouping of navigation links.
The Products menu on the left hand side of the page lists each category of our products. Positioning your mouse over a category (click this How To Display Adult Games & Toys link to see how to enable adult 'Games & Toys') causes a Sub-Menu of product styles for that category to be displayed. Clicking on a product style will display products in that style. If there are more products than can be displayed on a single page, page navigation links are provided at the bottom to display the additional pages.
The Brands menu on the left hand side of the page also lists each category of our products. Positioning your mouse over a category (click this How To Display Adult Games & Toys link to see how to enable adult 'Games & Toys') causes a Sub-Menu of manufacturers of products in that category to be displayed. Clicking on a manufacturer will display products in that category that are provided by the manufacturer. If there are more products than can be displayed on a single page, page navigation links are provided at the bottom to display the additional pages.
By default, the adult 'Games & Toys' Sub-Menu is not displayed in the 'Advanced Search', 'Products' or 'Brands' menus. Initially when you position the mouse over this category in either the Products Menu or the Brands Menu a disclaimer message is displayed. At the bottom of the message is an enable link which will allow viewing of the adult games and toys selections on the web site. If you do not wish to view these selections, do not click on the enable link. If you do click the enable link, the adult 'Games & Toys' product styles Sub-Menu will be displayed. In addition, the adult 'Games & Toys' category will be added to the 'Advanced Search' Sub-Menu and the adult toys definitions will be added to the definitions list displayed by the 'Definitions' Sub-Menu under 'Information & Help'. The adult games and toys must be re-enabled if you exit our site and then return.
